Wilted Beet Greens Bruschetta


Ingredients

Beet greens, chopped
3 Tbsp. Olive Oil
1 garlic clove, crushed
1/2 Tsp crushed red pepper flakes
Salt to taste
2 Tsp. lemon juice
1/4 cup onion, thinly sliced
Asiago Cheese for topping (optional)
1 Baguette (loaf of Italian or French bread), sliced

Directions

Heat oil , add onions & cook till soft. Add garlic, pepper flakes, and beet greens. Cook until greens are thoroughly wilted. Sprinkle with lemon juice.

Place warm greens on top of baguette slice and top with (optional) Asiago cheese & enjoy!
